SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed about the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services level developed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance expert here services,” the agency said.
